GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR ENTRIES. WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED VERY SHORTLY. Lately I’ve been thinking, there’s not enough yarn in your life… or yarn-related paraphernalia for that matter. Please forgive me for pointing this out so bluntly but you really need more yarn.
I mentioned this fact to the marvellous Suzie at It’s A Stitch Up, because she knows a thing or two about yarn if anyone does, and she was horrified. “Not enough yarn?! But, but, but, that’s terrible!” What’s more, she decided to do something about the problem. “Look,” she said, “I know time is short before Christmas, but why don’t I offer your readers the chance to win one of my Twelve Days Of Yarn-mas boxes, OR one of five of my Knitting Planner Notebooks?” Not going to lie: I thought that this was a pretty brilliant idea.
Want to see a little more? Twelve Days Of Yarn-mas is the gift that keeps on giving from the 25th December and for the whole twelve days of Christmas. Each day, you can open a beautiful, hand-dyed mini-skein of yarn, and work on the Scandinavian-inspired pattern that’s also included. There might also be CHOCOLATE! Trust me, you need this in your life.
Suzie’s Knitting Planner Notebooks are equally awesome, because as a knitter and designer, Suzie knows exactly how important it is to keep track of ideas, and pattern notes, and modifications, as you go. (Top tip: do NOT do what I do and scribble vital notes on old envelopes or other scraps that you later lose down the back of the sofa. Be like Suzie, do not be like me.)
So, it’s competition time, and this competition is OPEN WORLDWIDE because Suzie is a generous sort. For the chance to win either one Twelve Days Of Yarn-mas box or one of five Knitting Planner Notebooks, comment ‘yes please’ below. For additional chances to win, hop over to @thetwistedyarn on Instagram, ‘follow’ the feed and comment ‘yes please’ under the post about this competition, or head to the Yarn’s Facebook page and do the same thing. Good luck! GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED.
The contest is open from right now until 10.00 (British time) on Monday 9th December 2019 – not long, I know, but posting time is short.
And even if you’re not lucky enough to win this time, do go and have a look at the itsastitchup.co.uk site – you won’t regret it.

Yes, Please! My dear, this is the FIRST blog I’ve ever joined. Why? First, because you said you would be “honored” if I did. Second, because you asked us to reply “Yes, please” to participate in the “12 Days of Yarn-mas.” You have enchanted me! I am an American who has become weary of coarseness and poor behavior in life as well as on line. Thank you for asking us to say the magic word!
