I've finished the race. (The race mentioned near the end of THIS post, in case you're wondering what on earth I'm blithering about.) Inspired by your generous donations to pancreatic cancer research, I did it. I ran 1084 miles of a wiggly route from Land's End to John O'Groats. (For non-UK folk, that's the bottom left hand toe of England up to the top right nobble of mainland Scotland.) Actually I ran the distance along the tracks/paths/roads of south Oxfordshire, but the people - or Continue Reading
Oh My Goodness…
It's no secret that I like to knit/crochet whilst walking. It's pretty rare that I'm out and about without yarn. Maybe it'll get me labelled as the village weirdo, but we all have to decide our priorities in life, and it turns out that I like knitting more than I dislike being called a weirdo, so meh. And Now For Something Completely Different
Ahem. (By the way, do remember that there's still time to enter the Edward's Crochet Imaginarium giveaway.) I've been thinking for a while that I'd like to do something helpful via this blog, something for charity. The idea hadn't progressed very far when a plan came along of its own accord and plonked itself in my lap. It's a ludicrous idea, and the friend who suggested it wisely did so after I'd had a couple of glasses of wine, in which state I can be talked into pretty much any kind of Continue Reading
