Gosh, judging by your responses to the Adagio giveaway, you lot do enjoy your tea! There are still a few hours left in which you can enter, if you haven’t done so already. Good luck!
Meanwhile, the crochet Christmas tree seemed to be the most popular of the tea cosies that I designed, so I’ve written up the pattern for that, and I’ll post it below, for FREE! This is the fellow:-
It fits a standard two-cup teapot. (You could always scale up or down with larger or smaller yarn and hook if you wanted to make one a different size, though.)
The beast you see above was crocheted in Stylecraft Special, DK-weight. It’s based on crocodile stitch. If you’ve never tried this stitch before, I do recommend having a little go using my photo-tutorial before moving on to the pattern.
If you do decide to make yourself this tea cosy (because obviously, you haven’t got anything else to do between now and Christmas Day), then I’d love to see a picture of it keeping the chill off your brew. I’ll pop the design on my Ravelry design page, too.
Anyway, shall we get on with the job? Yeah, why not. Here’s the pattern! Free Christmas Tree Tea-Cosy Crochet Pattern!
Enjoy.

I love this! And (should I start a sentence with ‘and’?) since apart from 3 others, I have a 14 and a 16 year old, one who can argue her way out of a paper bag and one who knows everything!! then I have nothing else to do this week but crochet this little number!! Festive loveliness to you and yours xx
